Easy to use. Works great

This seems to be a really good thermometer. My wife and I tested this with each of us taking multiple readings in a row, and we got consistent readings, within 0.2° of the prior reading each time. We also compared this to a different well-rated brand name oral thermometer (Vicks) that we had at home, and we got very similar readings, so we do think that this thermometer is accurate. It is soft and very comfortable to use. Our testing involved just testing it on us two adults, and taking temperatures in the mouth; we did not test other locations or age groups. I do want to comment specifically regarding another reviewer, who was disappointed that an additional button needed to be pressed on the side in order to choose an age group before taking temperatures, and I think that must have been regarding a different product, as this thermometer only has the one button as shown in the photos. I am attaching additional photos to clearly show that there are no additional buttons elsewhere on this device. It works remarkably easily and quickly. You just press the single button to turn it on and then it does give us a reading consistently in less than 10 seconds. It is easy to read and the backlight stays on long enough to see the reading before it turns the light off again automatically. This thermometer does give a reading more quickly than that Vicks brand thermometer, and that other one also seems to need a new battery way too often. We do like this one better. I hope some of this is helpful for you. This seems to be an accurate and high-quality thermometer. We like it.

This thermometer is really easy to use and it's very simple to put into various places to measure the temperature. It's somewhere well trusted brand and works well, giving a temperature that seems to be fairly accurate.

Easy one button operation. Turn on, place at the preferred site of the body, wait approximately 10 seconds, and the probe beeps once the temperature has been recorded. For underarm use, thermometer should go in vertically, close your arm back down at your side, and gently hold the probe between your pits. For oral and rectal use, 5 disposable probe covers are provided. Keep in mind, compared to oral measurements, rectal temperatures are generally higher whereas underarm temperatures are generally lower. Celsius and Fahrenheit can be changed when thermometer is off by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then single pressing it again to switch to the other unit. My only gripe is it only stores 1 previous reading, and this reading only appears for 2 seconds at the initial start.Recommended cleaning instructions are simply to wash with soap and warm water, disinfect with alcohol, then keep probe tip safe with the protective cap.

We've had a Braun thermometer that measures temps from the ear canal for a while, and it's worked great. The only time it doesn't perform well is if there's wax in front of the ear drum. Therefore, we wanted to add a second measure to double check, and this digital thermometer fit the bill perfectly. For the age group in our family, we'll be using it orally (under the tongue).The operation is very simple. Press the only button on the thermometer, place it under the tongue and wait about 6-7 seconds. The temperature reading goes up on the screen while it's still reading it, and it beeps and lights up the screen once it reaches steady state. We compared it with our other thermometer and found it to be accurate. The tip is soft, which makes is very easy to place under the tongue and keep it between lips while it's reading. The beep sound is little quiet, and it's probably not to startle little babies, since it's designed to be used in multi-age groups. The cleaning is very easy as well. Overall we're very happy with it. Highly recommended!

This Braun Digital Thermometer seems to work well and provides quick, easy to read results.It's very convenient to have on hand for an initial temperature diagnosis without any fuss. I appreciate the color coded feature, especially for those times when you're half asleep taking a temperature on a little one.Overall, it's a reliable tool and a great addition to our home health kit. Reasonably priced. 5 stars.

Pretty much your basic digital no frills thermometer. It also comes with some probe covers which are good to have when your first using a product also this, but you can pretty much pick them up at any store to continue using them. The one thing I would have liked here is if it made a noise after it gets up to temperature so I know just when its down. But thats not the biggest deal since you can just go by a basic 30 seconds timer on things like this. It is easy to use and read with a nice amount of accuracy compared to the one I use every so often.

This is a nice looking, well-built, soft and comfortable-to-use thermometer. A few minor complaints...first, the cap just slides on and off, it doesn't "click" into place. It falls off way too easily. It's fine for the medicine cabinet at home, but if you carry it in your pocket or purse the cap will definitely keep falling off. Second, the battery is "active" as soon as they put it in. There is no plastic tab to remove. So it's draining as soon as they put it in at the factory. Besides that, it gives a very fast reading, and it's accurate. I took three readings...under my arm, then rectally, than orally. All three were accurate. Although now that I think about it, perhaps I should have cleaned it in between readings.
