These are now essential to my nub removal process. I hardly use sandpaper at all. Yeah, they may seem pricey, but you'll save on sandpaper.Yes, I also still use Raser: I find these Stedi files fill a niche Raser does not. Raser works better in some situations, Stedi works better in others. That all comes down to how hard the plastic is, and how fine a point you need. Test them on the sprue before you do nub removal to ID the best tool for the job.If you can only get 1, get these.

This is the first time I've used glass files and at this fine grit they're almost a polishing bar. I use them for Gunpla builds so that works well for my use case. There are 4 files in various form factors, but I believe they're all the same grit (1000?) The serration is only about half to 3 quarters on only one side though, so that was kind of a letdown to me. I wish that the whole side was serrated. They work great though and the little plastic cases they each have is awesome and thoughtful.

Very good product. Sands the way you would expect and is very easy to clean with a microfiber cloth to use again.

As a glass file, it does what it was advertised to do, however just a heads up for anyone who is using this product for any kits, it sands/polishes TOO well. So much so to the point that one mistake will nick a part of your kit, leaving deep groove and in addition to this, the polish is way too smooth making it seem unnatural compared to the rest of the kit.Overall, these glass files should only really be used on smaller pieces, if you are using it on larger panels, just be extremely careful.

Each file looks VERY nice and professional. They work well. Each one has a designated case and shape making it easy to tell them apart. Cleaning them is a little difficult but that is sort of what you get with all files. Good product.

I cant use them cause the feeling of them being rubbed on anything makes my spine scream and I feel as though im gonna vomit. But the friend I gave them to says they are indeed glass files and they do the sanding/filing thing.
