Exactly Right
Fantastic! Just as described. Easy to install? No, but that was because of the door, not this part. Thanks for the quick delivery.

Installation ouch!
It di what it said. Not quite what you may need. Uninstall went pretty smooth because all the OE plastics had rotted off. Removing cable was an issue the ball fell to the wrong side and got caught up on the spring, I had to get our some tweezers and picks to finally get it out. The yellow clip that attaches to door framework was more than difficult to get on could probably use a special tool, super long hook nosed pliers or something, or just tear up your hands. Now if I were a real mechanic. If I has it to do over again I'd probably go for the metal replacement thingies: Ford Door Latch Cable Repair Kit for F-series, E-series, Ranger, Expedition, Excursion, Navigator (Repairs Four Cables - 6 Standard 2 LOCKING CAM)

Only needed the door lock knob
For those of you that have ever tried to replace only the door lock knob for the side swing doors of a late 90's model Ford Econoline van, you'd know it's next to impossible because all the door lock knobs made by third parties are either too short, unthreaded, etc. And Ford doesn't make them anymore, either. This means you have to buy the entire door lock assembly in order to acquire that one plastic part. And that's exactly what I did. It was either this or buy the latch assembly from the dealership and that would've been $90 dollars. I bought this latch assembly here for about $25. I removed the needed part and put the rest away in my tool closet just in case I need it. $25 for a simple door lock knob because no one manufacturers the proper parts anymore is a real bummer... but if you're looking to make some money and you have a 3D printer... here's an idea for you.

Do NOT Buy – cheap plastic ends that will break just like the original cable ends – DOOMED TO FAIL
Do NOT Buy – cheap plastic ends that will break just like the original cable ends – DOOMED TO FAILThe cable ends are made of cheap plastic cable ends just like the Ford OEM original that broke. I returned this DOOMED TO FAIL defective product.Instead I purchased an 8 piece set of METAL cable ends from this Amazon website:8 ENDS Door Cable Repair Kit for F-series, E-series, Ranger, Expedition, Excursion, Navigator (Repairs Four Cables - 6 Standard Ends 2 LOCKING CAM)Visit the Mookis Store4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 801 ratings | 7 answered questions50+ bought in past month$8.99https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KV0RPFQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsThese METAL cable ends work perfectly to replace the broken dangerous cheap plastic cable ends. There are instructional videos all over the internet on how to repair this too common of a problem. If I was King then I would command that NHTSA – NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION - would issue a recall on all Ford E-series vans because of a dangerous safety problem. The problem is that the backseat passenger area door lock handles operate with cables and the cables FAIL because Ford used a cheap plastic cable end connector. When the cable end breaks you cannot open the doors from the inside, or from the outside, to allow the passengers to exit the vehicle. I reported this dangerous safety problem to NHTSA. If enough people report this dangerous condition then NHTSA will force Ford to recall and repair all safety defects.
