Beautifully made!
I bought this as a gift but when I opened the box, I wanted to keep it for myself! It's very pretty and I even enjoyed touching the porcelain as it's so smooth. I may have to buy one for myself! I've seen many Maneki Neko cats over the years, but this one by far is the most beautiful. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this purchase. It was very well packaged to prevent any damage. I also consider the 7.5" to be the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. Thank you Amazon for offering the Tokoname Neko cat as I've been shopping for a while and looking at many websites. You have also saved me the wait it would have taken if this were shipped directly from Japan.

In Perfectly Giftable Box
My bf owns a business. He said he wanted a “lucky money kitty” after seeing the Kotobuki Maneki Nekos I keep at my house.There is a coin slot on the back to use as a bank. He is rather large and I liked the collar deco better than others I’ve seen. I do agree with another reviewer that it is a little overpriced for what it is but maybe because it is an authentic product of Japan?? I do wish the coin retrieval hole on bottom had something you could plug to use again instead of essentially paper covering it. Does not detract from purpose and look. He said he “feeds” him coins into the coin slot in differing amounts depending on how much he earned him that day. I thought he was being ridiculous but his sales have gone up so 🤔

My wife collects Lucky Cats and she really loves this one. It is very well made and the detailed painting is great. It also came very well packaged and in perfect condition.

Beautiful, but over-priced
It's a beautiful piece manufactured in Japan that also doubles as a piggy bank (kitty bank?). But tremendously over-priced. I'm happy with it, but caveat emptor.

Arrived on time in cool box and is adorable!
I pet the kitty on it's head and and on it's cute bob tail almost every day it's so cute! With it's WIDE EYES and beckoning paw, it demands attention!
