Absolutely the best solution for sturdy and secure equipment stands.
I have owned so many keyboard/synth/equipment stands over the years and rarely do they last or measure up. But this stand is a more solid solution than anything else I have tried. It is rugged, made from quality materials and has the workmanship of a product made by a company who actually cares what their customers think of them, and would like to do business again in the future with them. The rack's arrangements are flexible in adusting heights, and provide such a solid base that I won't worry about my equipment now. It's construction is really ingenious and self reinforcing. The metal is nice and thick and has a very "finished" and professional look to it. They even included adhesive cushion pads to protect furniture surfaces and the equipment that I will be placing on it from scratches and dings. Very nice touch !!!I can't wait to look over the rest of their products and start getting excellent quality equipment at such a tremendous value and price.

Forget that iffy reviews, it's a go.
None of the other stands really offered what I was looking for, but like other people have said after reading the reviews I was hesitant because of the mentioned flimsiness and overall stability. When I first unpackaged it I was a little bit overwhelmed, because it wasn't obvious at first how it went together. After thinking about it for a minute and looking over, it really couldn't be easier. I feel like anything easier would be flimsy, and as long as everything is tightened well, which means checking all of the multiple pieces that unscrew, it should be plenty sturdy for you. As far as it being stable, just make sure everything's tightened down. Now I have done two mods to mine, which took no tools other than a pair of pliers. The first one I did was sometimes I like it really low, so in one of the photos you'll notice at one of the outside brackets has a little piece broken off the bottom of it, that's so I can lower it down all the way. I just took a pair of pliers and folded it back and forth until it weak into the metal and snapped off about a half an inch of metal. That's the caveman way of doing it, anything else would do better but I still got it done. The other mod I did which has worked for me pretty good in the last couple of months is to prevent the stand from tipping backwards which it might do if you have a lot of weight on the top and a light controller like I do, on the bottom. So I just moved up where you screw the stand in at. I'm only using one of the two holes, but I've got industrial double-sided tape other under the other end, which is just there to prevent it from sliding, ideally you would want to drill out a hole in either use a flat bolt and washer, or use the flat screw that came with it in and tap a new hole so you can screw in that front screw.. it's still super sturdy, as you can see right now it's loaded up and balancing on a bed, which it could not do prior to me repositioning the legs. They could be part of the reason why I think it's so sturdy. I usually have my controller and my laptop pretty flush, but I decided to raise it up just the middle platform recently to try to help my posture while playing at home. It's a great value for the money, and really nothing else I or other have seen has this form factor. And while adjusting the height on this isn't as fast as a push button clamp (what's used on aluminum crutches) I think this is far sturdier than that, and really not that bad to take apart and re-assemble, I wasn't looking forward to it until I did it a couple of times, not an issue at all.Height is sufficient enough to where you can even put a keyboard or some performance pads on the bottom if you're using on a desk.If I could go back I would purchase again without question.

I had no issues with shipping or assembly.
I was concerned after reading some Amazon reviews about missing parts. But I trust Amazon will make things right if that ever occured, so I took a risk and wasn't let down. All the parts were in the box. It seems solid and sturdy, there are a few adjustments to customize for width and height, nothing huge, several inches, but sometimes that's what counts. There are 2 downsides, but nothing with the functionality of the stand. First, the thumb screws on the outside of the stand I received, are smaller than the ones pictured, so a little annoying to grab while attaching the screw. Second, the inserts from PyleUSA have a card that reads "LIFETIME WARRANTY", when in fact it's only a 3 year warranty. Again, neither of these are detrimental to the function of the stand, so hopefully it will stand up to it's use and I will be able to give a "highly recommended", but for now I would recommend it with a note of, "I haven't had it for a full day so I don't know for sure, but so far so good".

Garbage
Garbage. Poorly made. Weak screws that crack when hand tightened with a screwdriver (i did not use a power tool). Missing a washer. You provide 4 screws isn’t it simple enough to provide 4 washers? Apparently not. Pyle has always been the joke of the industry. I thought i could trust them with this simple item but i was proven wrong
