Reasonably Priced - Works Great
I really like this fuel pump because it doesn't require any battery power, just good 'ole manual power. It was reasonably priced and it works very well to pump gasoline from my large tank.I was concerned whether it would work for this tank, as this pump, as purchased, is made to work with up to a 55-gallon drum. The pick up tube telescopes, but it still didn't go deep enough for my tank. To make it work with my deeper tank, I un-threaded the pick-up tube from the bottom of the pump body and added a galvanized coupling and pipe nipple to extend it. I had difficulty pushing the nipple through the collar, so I used a rotary grinding bit to slightly enlarge the hole in the collar. I then sealed the collar with a fuel resistant caulk.

Works great!
This thing can move some liquid! I can fill my generator up in seconds, lawn mower in a minute or two. Only recommendation is use teflon tape on all the fittings. Some will leak if not.

Rockstar Pump
Puts your local gas pump to shame with inflow and outflow speed. This thing pumps like a charm! I'm getting another one! Four stars until I"ve used it for another year and it's still holding up.

Worked the first time used then failed to pump
I installed this on my 26 gallon fuel tank. The first time I tried to use it, it worked great. Great flow, great suction. It sat for 30 days and I tried to use it again. It refused to generate any suction and does not pump any fuel.WASTE OF MONEY.

less than 3 months and it won't prime properly and just dribbles frothy fuel
After less than 3 months use and about 200 gallons of diesel through it the pump won't move diesel. Not sure what went wrong with it. It sat unused for about 4 weeks and now it will just spit a bit of frothy diesel. When it was newly installed I could fill my skid steer tank in about 170 rotations. About 1 gallon per 10 turns. Now every 10 turns may get me an ounce of fuel. I am pretty sure it is sucking air in from the seal around the handle.edit:I manged to fix my problem and raised the my rating to 2stars. My problem turned out to be the 2 part pickup tube. I highly recommend tossing it in the trash. There is an o-ring in the top of the lower piece that seals it to the top tube. The o-ring slipped out of place and so since the fuel level was below the bottom of the small diameter part of the pickup tube it would not pull much if any fuel.Highly recommend replacing the pickup tube and the bung adapter.

Poor Product!
Purchased a couple months ago. Just installed. 5 full rotations of the crank, pumped the fuel, then locked up solid… in both directions. Not happy. Race season starts now. Not happy.
