Holy Bible: Easy-to-Read Version

You can only access the first page of each bible book from the Contents page. Cannot get to, say, Psalm 40, just to Psalm 1. But you can get round this. You will soon come across a numbered note (e.g. 1) in the Psalms (or any book). Click on this, and you will be taken to the list of notes at the back of Psalms (or any other book) Each note tells you to which Psalm it refers. Click on one of these nearest the Psalm you want, and you will be taken back to that psalm that the note refers to. Not perfect, but much better than flicking through every page until getting to the one you want.There are many notes in the text, explaining many words which those not familiar with the bible may not understand.I found it refreshing to have a different translation to the ones I usually use.

Easy to read sums it up very nicely. As far as I can see so far, it is factually correct. Each story is written well and is easily digested. This is a good introduction to the Bible and should make readers want to go on to the fuller translations. I have to confess that I still like the St. James' version best!

Excellent easy to use and understand a great foundation in beginning your studies of scriptures, would highly recommend this for anyone struggling with other versions this makes a good stepping stone onto furthering your knowledge of The Word, would highly recommend this.

An excellent translation for those who struggle with reading English, would recommend it for that reason. Translates a few words badly, and biggest failing is omission of God's name - but on the whole is definitely worth having.

Ive never read the bible and was always put off by the old fashioned grammar.Well i came across this version and started to read it and discovered what an amazing book the bible is.So this version gets a 5star thumbs up from me.

I couldn't get on the same wave length as this Bible. Passed it to a friend and she loves it.

I got this for my Kindle. I've always had a bit of difficulty understanding the bible properly, intimidated I think. But this has really made it all come to life for me. I only wish I'd found it before!

This bible has made it very easy to understand the older versions of the bible. Having this as a guide when reading the KJV has really assisted in my journey to read the bible this year.

If you ever wanted to read the Bible from beginning to end like a regular book then you have to purchase this book.Is so easy to understand, once you get into it, it is very intriguing and hard to put down., I love it

To those who are learning English and want to read the bible to feed your spirit, that is the best version.They use a simple language and maintain the same structure of the Bible, the footnotes help us to understand things that we actually would not know just reading it.I recommend this version.

Easy reading, explained well and was a great start to starting to read the bible in a simplified way, definitely recommended
