Bella Vita Women's Toni Ii Plus Harness Boot

I kept wanting to love these, because I love the Bella Vita brand overall, but I've found repeatedly that the half of their boots that have these strangely smooth (initially beautifully designed, though they quickly scratch up) bottoms are just dangerous to wear. They are slippery, horribly slippery. The bottoms are like furniture sliders, which means you slide across the carpet whether or not you meant to, and never mind hitting a touch of moisture or some ice on the side walk. I've already suffered a concussion because of a pair of sandals that were FAR LESS slippery than these boots; I don't intend to repeat that over some badly designed boots!To make matters worse, this style has a horribly imbalanced heel. Not only is it narrow, but how it sits beneath your heel makes you particularly likely to step slightly off-balance. Considering how slippery these are, this just doubles the shockingly dangerous design.Frankly, these boots are a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can't believe Bella Vita hasn't stopped making these.
