Good camera for what we needed, to replace or other solar camera from another provider that just stopped working. No help at all. This camera does the same job and is clear, affordable and good quality. Easy to install and no hassle so far.

This is the first external home camera I have bought and I am very impressed with it. It was easy to install - I have it covering my front path/door. It was straightforward to add the camera to the ANRON app which I downloaded onto my iPhone. I did some testing with the sensitivity and found a setting of 4 was ideal to detect people approaching/entering the house. We have previously had children knockingon the door and running a way and the camera will record this if it happens again.Being able to see who is knocking at the door on the iPhone is great as you then have a choiceto answer it or ignore it. The 'Hold to talk' function allows you to speak to the person at the door without opening it. The camera has been in place, on a north-facing wall, for 5 days and still shows a full charge so I guess the solar panel is charging it efficiently. I bought a micro SD card with the camera, total 54.94, which I consider is great value. I will be buying 2 more of the same camera to cover other parts of our house & garden.Edited 30/08/2024I have now have bought and installed a second of these cameras. It was easy to install and link to the ANARAN app on my iPhone. I have been using the second camera to monitor our drive and cars. I can set the sensitivity to detect everything that comes on the drive, including cats and foxes. Or, I can exclude these to just detect humans. The camera arrived with charge and since I installed it the solar panel has kept the battery fully charged.I like the way the app allows easy navigation of alerts in the app and I am impressed by the video quality, as the cause of the alert is always clearly shown; for example a black cat at night! I would recommend this camera to anyone requiring a dependable camera to monitor their home.

Easy to set up and decent picture quality. Good battery life and company offered an extra solar panel as my camera is not quite in direct sunlight due to an overhanging porch. New panel can be located better to ensure camera keeps charging

these are decent cameras, thought i’d give them a try out. nice that the solar panel is integrated into the cam, no separate wires to link to the panel and camera, don’t have to drill two lots of holes so it’s a nice and tidy job. they keep the cams charged up pretty well, providing you put them in a lit place of course. 2 of my cameras were right next to my house which was not exposed to a lot of light but still managed to charge to 70% or so. i have frequent motion around my property so its operating a lot, and kept the charge.app interface is pretty easy to navigate and i can easily understand everything, access footageOption for micro sd card or cloud recording, no hidden fees which is good. i opted for sd card- got a 32gb sandisk high endurance which is made for cameras and cctv footage storage. 1 week of recordings not even filled the capacity a lot which is greatthey are not for 24/7 recording, which is what i wanted for my property. unfortunately this is one of the reasons i have returned them.Another reason is the sound quality- cannot really make out voices unless they are speaking very loud. can make out basic sounds like cars coming or opening and closing of doors.third reason is because when motion is detected a lot of the time it’s too late by the time it’s recorded footage and the person / car is gone. i have it set to high sensitivity toooverall pretty good budget system, well made but unfortunately not for me.

Extremely easy to set up, literally two mins, very easy to install, and picture quality is great. For the price and peace of mind you can't go wrong. See how it holds up in the dark later. So far so good

As someone who has experience in installing CCTV systems, I have always avoided WiFi cameras due to the poor connectivity. I wanted to give these a try as we are living in a temporary accommodation and didn't want to go through installing a professional system. I was hoping the connectivity would have gotten better over the years. I was wrong. These cameras need to be placed really close to the router or you will have connection problems. Our router is in the center of the house. I installed these 4-5 meters from the router, outside the house. They lost connection. They worked fine when they were closer to the router but once they were outside the house they kept losing connection. I bought a WiFi repeater and placed them by front and back door closer to the cameras but that didn't make any difference. The connection was still poor. Apart from the connection issues these cameras are pretty good. They do not record continuously but record when motion is detected. The light was very bright at night. These are solar powered so after the initial charge, they charged themselves. Which was great. Sadly I had to return these as they were not very useful due to the connection issues. If you want a system that you can rely on, avoid these and get a professional system installed as these take ages to load the live video.

The media could not be loaded. Needed an outdoor camera as my Reolink packed up after 1yr . Came across the Anran solar powered 2K camera and thought at that price I would give it a go. It was easy to set up. I liked the built-in solar panel. There is an app and took less than two minutes to set up. Video quality is great. Today is partly cloudy and the camera is charging, brilliant. What I really liked is that it linked easily with Alexa which allows me to see footage on my TV. Definitely recommend this camera.

I’ve had a few security cameras over the years and this is one of the best. The inbuilt solar panel at such a low price point is amazing value. The notifications are spot on and picture quality excellent. Will be adding another.
