It works fine until your mac goes to sleep. Screen will not come back on.
When your mac goes into sleep mode, so will the second screen. The problem is that when your mac wakes back up, the second screen stays in standby mode and will not come out of it. I tried this with a different make of Thunderbolt to VGA adapter that was also bought on Amazon and it worked perfectly.

Works perfectly.I was slighly annoyed at the branding on the cable - it would have looked 100 times better without the branding...But nevertheless, does the job perfectly - I'm able to connect my Macbook Pro to the Projector.Moreover, it looks very different to the normal Apple version and so it's easy to know which cable is yours (my old one was a normal apple one and you would never know which one was yours because everyone had the same cable)....And yeah, a lot cheaper than the official Apple one which is nice :)
