The long strap is a gold tone chain. It looks cool but I was afraid it might “catch” on the lace in my dress, and cause an ugly “pull” in the material. Otherwise the size is perfect for a wedding or fancy event. It has lots of gold on it though. Be sure you’re wearing gold jewelry with it, or you will clash badly with this purse.

Love it, got many compliments. I did not use the gold chain. My iPhone , wallet and hand sanitizer and lip products and my keys fit well.

I really like this bag and I think it's cute it's just a lot smaller than I thought it would be so I wasn't able to use it as my regular everyday bag. Also in the picture the hardware looks silver but it is not silver it is gold.
