Red Horse Products Field Paste 500ml

I’ve used Red Horse Products before, and always been very pleased with the results. I normally use Sole Paint through the winter when the horses are stabled, to fend off thrush around the frog, and it works a treat. I’d never before encountered springtime thrush after they’d been turned out. But this year my daughter’s pony developed oozy thrush in a crack in the back/heel of the frog. One application made a noticeable difference already, and after a few days of cleaning and re-packing the hole with this stuff, there was no sign of thrush at all, and it didn’t come back. As it has a clay like consistency, it did a good job of keeping out debris and contaminants including the sand of the arena. Very happy with this product and I’d highly recommend it for holes or cracks with wet thrush. For black thrush down the sides of the frog, I’d recommend Sole Paint instead.

The best product I have ever used, ideal for sore feet, abcesses, thrush. It stays in place really well and smells great. Excellent and a must have for any horse owner. Tip- wear disposable gloves when applying

Don't know what voodoo magic this stuff is but my thin soled horse is definitely better after 3 applications.

Messy to use but very effective for thrush hooves.

Love this stuff, with this warm weather we've been having, the ground rock hard my poor lad finding to walk. After applying field paste to his feet has made a big differences he's Definitely much better recommend 👌

Does what it says on the tub, excellent never used beforehand.Easy to apply, helped to clear up thrush, will keep frog free from thrush.Good support, good for sensitive foot, walking over stones.

Only been using the product for a few days so it's too early to really be able to judge its results. However the paste is thick as advertised and stick quite well to my mate's feet. Being winter, her field is quite muddy so at the end of the day, no matter how much picking and brushing off mud, I do, her feet are still damp but the paste still holds. So this is really encouraging. Also my mare seems to tolerate it quite well and she is usually difficult with things like that. So far so good.

Use this on my horse that is ridden regularly and barefoot and suffers with thrush. It has hardened up the soles this spring which she can get tender to stones and dry this time of year. Best thing I have tried so far.
