Q: What is the diameter and depth of the hold?

The depth of the hole is about two inches. The problem I had was that it is supposed to be 1/2 diameter but I found it to be slightly smaller and it was even smaller further down the hole. I used a drill to make it the correct size and it now works perfectly for me.
