Impressive little radio! Of course, sound quality from the built-in speaker is nothing amazing, but it's actually better than I was expecting. Plus, you can just connect headphones or an aux speaker and it'll sound much better. What seems to be nice is with headphones or a speaker plugged in, you don't need to use the antenna. Although using the antenna will get even better reception. The use of AA batteries is a bit of a negative, of course you can always buy rechargeable batteries and that shouldn't be a problem. All in all, I highly recommend this little portable radio! Especially for us older folks who still prefer listening to the radio. Also, it has an AM setting. Doesn't work the best unless you're outside but it's appreciated non the less. 5/5.

This is great portable radio if you are looking for something compact and easy to carry around with you. It has a very good build quality and is well packaged. The sound quality is exceptional through the speaker and the headphone jack. Very good reception for both am and fm in my location. Bought a second one for my wife who was really impressed with its performance and she is not a radio buff as I am. All in all a good purchase, price not being a big factor, though it was very economical.

This is a great little radio. Reminds me of the transistor radios we had in the 60s except it has a lot better sound quality.

The seller is sending me a replacement for one of the radios I ordered, because the first time I turned it on, it worked great. Turned it off and back on, still fine. Turned it off and back on a few minutes later, and nothing but lights. Even though I didn't open and try the radio until right after the 30-day return window was up, the seller is graciously sending a replacement.

This radio will not grow legs . Power is controlled by a separate switch and not a switch part of the volume potentiometer. Amazon basic NM Hydride rechargeable fit which is not always true. They are bigger than most AA. If Amazon will compensate me I will do a video showing the miracles of what such a radio can do. Don't go buying too quickly as I need to buy more.

For a little handheld radio this thing is GREAT! Take it to the beach with me and it got really good reception. It's loud enough someone with you can hear but at one point I walked away from my chair and couldn't hear it at all. I thought this was beneficial because at the beach some people don't want to hear other people's music.

Love (: thought it was defected n didn’t work. Just needed to get away from other electronics to catch signal & change the bad batteries I tried at first when put into the radio. Tuning then started working. Thought it didn’t but it just needed change of battery. Looks good & great quality for the price. Definitely recommend

Got as a temporary item to use in car, while my car radio was repaired. Works super well, even in that situation. Speaker for such a tiny device is clear and loud. The 10-12" antenna pulls in most of the signals strongly.
