These tiny pills seem to make a difference in my skin and digestive system after I eat particularly high histamine foods. I have been taking two before meals.The only thing I was not happy with was the package was taped closed with a type of perforated tape and that was the only thing that sealed the product. Once I opened the outer box (that had the not very secure tape), the actual dispenser didn't have anything protecting it from being used. It needs to be better protected so that you know it hasn't been tampered with before it gets to you.

I honestly don't know if this even really does anything. I couldn't eat whatever histamine foods I wanted while taking it, got tired of paying 70 bucks every few weeks, and now eat exactly what I was eating when I took it without issue. (Still have to be low-histamine, just not as broke).

I need this as I do not make enough DAO to process histamine. These allow me to eat many more foods without anaphylaxis

The only way to really determine if you have a histamine intolerance is to either go on a low histamine diet or try a DAO supplement. If your DAO enzyme levels are reduced, you are likely to experience a wide variety of symptoms, so this supplement helps boost your levels so that you can eliminate the histamines in food. This particular supplement is very small & very portable. The case contains 60 pills, which you dispense by pushing down on the top - a pill will pop out of the bottom, so no fumbling with caps, etc. at the dinner table. You are supposed to take one of these pills right before eating histamine rich foods. The supplement itself seems to be quality, but the issue with these pills is the price. They are nearly $70 which equates to approximately $1 per pill/meal. However, if you only eat them with histamine rich meals, they will last you longer, but that requires you knowing which foods have a lot of histamine.
