Horrible ball joints
The tolerances on the parts are abysmal. It is not just a matter of using thread locker. My goal with this product was to reduce flex in the steering mechanism while under load, it will accomplish that. However, the ball joints should not rattle... This can be reduced by spreading them apart with a microscopic flathead screwdriverMost of the slop comes from the three tie rod ball joints. These can be upgraded third partyI am very frustrated and dissatisfiedThe wheel bearings fit very loose and require Loctite 609. The wheel bearings are drop in and fall out, that's not normal. They should require tremendous force to press inThis $25 kit has cost me about $55 from various adhesives and third party ball joints

Working and looking great.
Working bashing fine adjustable tie rods please use lot tight on all aluminum screws when you put it together and everything will be fine very fun I like the look.

Absolutely horrendous kit functionality wise.
Besides missing several components and an empty tube of threadlocker (no biggy as I don't use anything but quality loctite) this kit is severally lacking in tolerances. First off properly using loctite has NOTHING to do with the theory of operation in how this upgrade works . Overall the kit itself is certainly nice, only for eye appeal and nothing else. When it comes to function tolerances everywhere are horid. Bearings in a hub should not be loose or have lateral movement. When you can physically watch the bearings move in all directions, no go. The amount of unnecessary and abnormal movement of the steel bearings will keyhole the soft aluminum VERY quickly under power. Then we come to the ball links in the steering components of the kit. Same issue of very sloppy tolerance between the ball and joints. No amount of trim adjustment will keep the wheels planted were they need to be. Absolutely stay away from this kit for any HBX rig. I'm very impressed with HBX overall but this kit is truly a disappointment and should be discontinued. The stock components of the HBX 18859A are so much better and should be used appropriately.

Durable, Tight, Adjustable & Looks Great
Excellent, very nice looking. I'm not sure what people are talking about the Steering is nice and tight if you know how to use Thread Lock and let it Cure properly. I already had the Shock upgrade and those are also really nice I need to put the brushless system back in now that the Steering is tight and Shocks are refilled

Not compatible with 18859E
I got this to repair my 18859E. It doesn't have the same base part to work together. I returned them to find working parts.

Great quality for the price
Got this kit to replace a broken plastic servo arm. At first I was just happy to be able to find parts for my son's car, but now I'm throughly impressed by how nice these parts are.

Very loose joints.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this kit to put in a Blackzone Slyder, turbo not a HAIBOXING to be clear, however they are basically clones. Surprisingly I had to do a lot of modification to make it fit. That does not affect my review rating because I knew that what I was getting wasn’t advertised to fit my car. My complaint is that all the Heim Joints? Have a massive amount of play. The original plastic stuff was a little sloppy, and I had hoped this might make it better. It made it way worse.
