I got the ghosttek case when i first ordered my pixel and it felt cheap and little debris started getting inside of the case somehow. So I ordered this one and its WAY better! Highly recommend

I have to say I never leave reviews I just don't care to take the time to do it but I had to leave a review for this phone case so other people know how good it is. My baby was just playing with my phone sitting in a highchair and dropped it face down on the kitchen tile it made the most terrifying smack sound and I was convinced the screen had to be cracked. Nope. This isn't the first time that's happened either, I've been talking with my hands while holding it and threw it across the room it bounced off of the corners and was completely fine. But most impressive and I'm not making this up I dropped it in the pool it sank to the bottom of the shallow end maybe three or four feet and I bent down to pick it up so that took maybe 5 seconds it was underwater at least I took it out of the case and there was not one single drop of water on it I didn't even have to use a towel or anything to dry it off I just put it back in the case and it was fine. The case snaps shut to lock around the entire outside, it has rubber on the outside edges and is raised on the front cover around the edges so when it drops it doesn't drop right on the screen, and what was most important to me about this case is that it had a clear back so the collar of my phone could be seen because it's a really pretty creamy Pearl Rose color and looks beautiful with the black trim and light blue on the front cover, I would pay $100 for this phone case every day all day and I'm by no means well off. It's just amazing please buy it ASAP

As always, when I get a new phone the VERY FIRST THING I do is put it in a rugged case; seriously, right out of the package! With the Pixel 8 Pro my options were oddly limited as almost every case was either pitch black (I lose my phones too often) or not rugged. Even companies I've liked before like Supcase & even OtterBox only offers cases in tactical black (or dark blue).After a LOT of searching I finally settled on this, despite the mixed reviews. Having owned this now for 3 months I can give a good review.First, & importantly, this isn't nearly as tough as those other cases I mentioned. This scared me! However the P8P is itself tougher than it's predecessors so it's less important. As for being waterproof I don't know & haven't tried it. I CAN tell you that the USB port cover doesn't seem like it will handle too many opening cycles; fortunately the case works with the new (2nd generation) Pixel Charger Stand (which has issues of its own) so 99% of the time I'm wirelessly charging the phone & keeping it fully sealed; however, a real Apple mag safe charger puck wouldn't stay attached through the case. As for laying it down, it depends because the P8P's cameras just out the back, something the Pixel Stand takes into account but other chargers can't.The back is made of the same medium thickness clear plastic as the front, so you can actually see the back of the phone: this is the only "rugged" case I know of that's mostly transparent! It's not TPU so dropping it on something hammer size that isn't stopped by the edges may damage the phone. This also gives a rather cheap & tacky look up close, if that's important to you, and attracts fingerprints; you don't have to worry about damaging the phone cleaning then off though!For the hard core camera nuts, the case plastic covers all the lenses unlike most other cases if you need to take a really good picture you'll have to clean it first, however I haven't had a problem. This also renders the IR thermometer useless (you see the plastic's temp instead). Other reviews have some owners cutting out those holes but you'll lose the water / dust "proofing". I have other far more useful IR thermometers anyway.Overall I'm happy with this case: several drops have yielded no obvious damage (I've got real butter fingers). It's not safe against sharp objects & I can't speak of water proofing but others have. I'd probably buy it again.Almost forgot: it has a lanyard. This is useful for hanging it on lots of things but not wide enough for theater seat arm rests.

Product is a great fit and finish. . Protects as advertised and looks good doing it. . Wireless charging still works. Waterproof in my kitchen sink. Great value for the money.

I bought this case because I have had luck with this brand in the past and needed a waterproof case for a vacation. I tested it, had no issues. Took it on vacation. Couldn't barely use my phone because it was so difficult to touch anything and actually work. I would have to really work at anything to do anything on my phone. Then I took it in the water, and guess what... Water got in the case. Thankfully my phone is water resistant but had to be super careful to prevent too much water from destroying my phone. When I took the case off my phone, it also chipped the back camera. The phone has not been dropped or been used in any rough manner. I will never buy a case from y'all again. So disappointed! I was really looking forward to amazing underwater shots from my vacation that I don't have now. Do not recommend!!

I use this when I'm backpacking and rain is in the forecast. It's bigger than my regular case (but actually weighs less), so I've had to change where I can carry it (bottom line, a fanny pack), but so far, it's been worth it. Touch screen works fine, and visibility of the screen is good (not perfect), and the case has protected my phone from downpours. Maybe just the phone would have been okay on its own, but I don't want to test it out in the backcountry, when a phone is so important. So I'll keep using this, as needed.

Very impressed with the case. Some of the complaints are trivial. I have had alot of different cases, ticks all boxes. Its designed to keep phone safe and by the quality of it, it does that. The back protector might not be tight against the back, but that not a problem. Battery gets hot, reasons behind it. Camera protector, nice touch. Loud speaker issue can be good turn phone over get good base. It does say take plugboff bottom when talking. Theres always a volume button. Overall all quality case, very happy. Not dropped it yet, but confident it will do its job (gave you one job lol)👍. Rains alot in England lol, so.comes handy. I tell my 13 year old this. Always read the instructions etc first. Common sense😀

This case is very durable and has a nice fit and allows for a great look to it, the grip is absolutely fantastic! Only downside is that the charger lid is a bit hard to remove but that ensures it's water resistant!!

New phone so obviously new cover. I always buy a tough full cover as I'm a joiner and my work environment can be very messy, my last one was a Supcase Unicorn for my pixel 4a which took some abuse and it's only flaw was it let dust in behind the screen protector.This Lanheim one so far has performed brilliantly in regards protecting the phone and keeping the dust out (I'm not willing to test it's waterproof credentials). The cover to access the charge port is very tight and requires a good pull preferably with decent finger nails and two part cover snaps tight around the phone with a reassuring snug feel. The fitting instructions recommend not fixing a front screen protector glass but I have and it did affect the fingerprint sensor but I learned recently to remove the clear finger print disc behind the screen and it seems to work fine. My only issue is the sound, because it's more or less seales off l need to have the sound set to almost max in order to listen to YouTube videos and the like, added to this the back protector of the cover which is clear plastic like the front reverberates like a bass speaker. It does mention in the instructions that they recommend pulling out the port cover to hear better but that's a bit of a faff.All in all its a great phone protector and if that's all you want then it's perfect but if sound is higher in your list of priorities then the Supcase might be better if you can handle dust getting in.

Easy to assemble. Quality is great. Protection is good. Grip quite good value for money is amazing. Fully waterproof. Definitely worth the buy
