Very easy to work with. Much better and longer lasting than the plastic ones which broke after about 10 uses. Two sizes are useful. Doesn't snag.

Not for amateur
This tool is very hard to use on yourself. I am installing micro locs by myself and I am unable to use this tool because the hair keeps slipping out. Very frustrating.

Good quality but needs instructions
I have Sisterlocks and purchased this to replace the latch tool that I use when I am unablento go to a consultant and retighten my hair myself (because I do not like the one that Sisterlocks gave me for self retightening). I was so excited when I received it because it looks exactly like the one my consultant uses, only better because it has two sizes and the material is durable. I quite like the quality. The only problem I have is that I have not been able to access the instructions. The bar code on the package is so small that it is unrecognisable. I tried to search online on YouTube but I couod not find any videos with instructions. Can the seller please provide an alternative way to access the instructions? Other than that I am impressed with the quality and can't wait to learn how to use this tool.

This product did not grip the hair to pull it through properly. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before purchasing.

For professionals only? Please make a better Instructional video
These are probably a faster tool for retightening since you don’t have to thread your hair as you would with a needle tool BUT it’s impossible to hook the loc and get it through if you are a DIYer. I think a slow and clear instructional video would do wonders for getting people to grasp how to use this tool. Unfortunately locsanity’s “instructional” video provides no verbal explanation, is not closely focused on the locs (the angle of the camera is not the best) and shows the movements too quickly. Trying to mimic what it looks like is being done got me nowhere. Locsanity should probably make a detailed video where they are actually teaching someone who is not a professional how to use it and talking them through how to successfully hook and pull through each pic. I would considering repurchasing if they improve the instructions. For now, I’ve got to return this and get something that doesn’t have a steep learning curve.

Not working ob microlocs
It does not work. I have microlocs and the hook does not keep the hair. So it looks fine and good quality but not useful.
