I bought this item and the BSTUOKEY Audio Converter plus a 1' HDMI cable to use on my 22" PC monitor along with a firestick. Now I can change the monitor from PC to Firestick at the touch of a button and I am able to plug my analog headphones in so I can watch a movie or anything else in private. Before I was pulling cables and listening to the small speakers in the monitor. Well worth the added cost

Have a Mac Mini and a Raspberry pi plugged into this switch and then into a monitor that only has 1 HDMI port.Tried other switches that didn’t work with Macs. The Mac Mini is very finicky and doesn’t like to be switched in and out of its connection to the monitor. This switch works perfectly and the Mini is happy. So now I have my Mac OSX and my Debian Linux desktops and they work great.

Unfortunately, the unit I received does not support HDR - I'm not sure if I misread the product description, but this was kind of a pain to realize after the fact. However, I found another use for it that doesn't require HDR passthrough, so it all worked out in the end.

This switch is exactly what I needed for my computer pc, and my bigger monitor. Works great!
