Exceptional quality and MADE IN USA!!
After hours of searching many online stores and different manufacturers for a nice, well-made checkbook cover for myself, I found nothing but junk. I then decided to search for 'Made in USA' checkbook covers, and there it was ... exactly what I was looking for. This item is beautiful and I'm sure it will last for many years to come. These would also make for a very classy gift for just about anyone. I love it!

Super Quality, Wondrous Designs, Good Value
Good solid leather, with a pocket on either side for checkbook and register, plus a leather flap for NCR checks. Couldn't ask for better quality. The aesthetics are superb, deep, three-dimensional artwork. You can always tell an Oberon piece by its particular aesthetics. To be fair, I have been buying Oberon work for at least 30 years at the SoCal Renaissance Faire -- checkbooks, pouches, wallets, notebooks and more, so knew exactly what I was buying when I suddenly needed a check book cover. (I mean really, who writes checks any more? But suddenly I needed to, and went here immediately to replace the plastic thing from the bank.) This cover is not cheap -- the free one works -- but it will last for ever. And I consider it an excellent value, given the quality and the art. I still have 30 year old Oberon pieces in use daily. Oh -- check out the matching cell phone covers, btw. (Yes, I have that too.)

Worth Every Penny. Don’t Delay.
Wow. Just received my new check book cover and it beautiful. The leather is very high quality. The “normal “ plastic check separator is good thick leather. Not sure why all aren’t this way. This will probably be my last cover I will ever need. It’s that good and well made. The design is beautiful. It came in a wonderful package as well. If you were to give as a gift no wrapping necessary. Very well done done guys.

Very impressed
Absolutely as advertised... Very nice and sturdy leather. The celtic knot embossing is very clean, stitching is well done. I thought $40 was a bit much for a checkbook cover, but this is VERY well made. Not that the included little dragonfly charm added as a "Thank you" has anything to do with the overall quality of the checkbook cover, but it was a very nice touch. Ultimately I'm very happy with this. Would definitely recommend to others.

Exactly what you’re looking for.
If you ended up here, you’re looking for a fairly specific product. This is it. Classy, durable, and does what is says on the box. The leather has held up great so far, and tolerated my putting an eyelet for a keychain to no ill effect. It looks stunning and I’ve gotten a few compliments.

Still looks good after 10 years
These checkbooks are beautiful, well made, and I have had my old checkbook for 10 years! I just bought a new one because I moved and gave my old one to my daughter-in-law because she admired it.

Handsome but a little small for a standard checkbook.
It's very nice quality leather, but not really what I hoped for. I wanted a checkbook and credit card / money wallet all in one. This only holds a checkbook. I could use it, but not my hubby. I bought it for him.

Excellent cover with nice design.
Who writes checks anymore? Unfortunately, I still do on rare occasions, and having a really nice, long-lasting cover for them is still needed. This is a high quality, crafted to last, and great-looking checkbook cover.
