This is so-so. The best flea comb are the little 2x 3 inch flat plastic ones your vet probably gives out free. They have a fine side and a more open side. Get a light colored one and you will never miss spotting a nasty flea on the comb. I use the comb and also close by on the table is one of those sticky peal-off lint rollers. Just lay the roller on the table, it stays put nicely and as you groom your little fleabag lay the hair filed comb against the roller.....The hair and bugs will stick to the roller paper. I make sure to mash any critters so they cannot escape. So when you adopt.....do this....use a flea topical treatment once a month.....Get a can of procor premise treatment....and start grooming your kitty. Be gentle and be loved. Good luck.be on the lookout for little sesame seed shaped beige colored particles found in the fur surrounding the anus of your newly adopted foundling....they are tape worm eggs. Get thee to the vet....for a quickie treatment that will take care of that problem. These poor babies...don't ignore anything...ask your vet if you spot something suspect.

I have only just started using this flea comb but first indications are good. My cat hates those combs with the tines attached to plastic. He shakes his head and rejects them immediately. But this comb is acceptable to him. It doesn't hang up like the others, thank goodness. It looks like he will let me use this one. And the comb arrived in two days, even though it was a holiday. Very impressive.

This is an excellent cat flea comb. None of them will be perfect for all sizes of fleas - not even the combs with two rows of tines that are spaced differently. This one works better on the fat fleas, but it gets smaller ones too if you're diligent.My cats tolerate and sometimes even enjoy this comb. That was definitely not the case with the cheap plastic comb I had before this one. This one is also very comfortable in my hand for extended daily periods of combing.

A nice little lightweight comb that works well for me. I use it mainly on the belly area and under the jaw to remove dirt and comb out hair snags. My Havenese puppy doesn't mind it at all, even when I comb the ears. She does chew the handle if it's left lying.

I have a small Shih tzu. He had fleas a while ago so I decided to buy this product. I agree with other reviewers that it does help comb the dog's fur nicely but that was it all it did for me. I know it this is not suppose to be a miracle worker but I didn't catch any fleas. Overall, it is a good comb but a bad flea catcher.

My long haired cat is very happy with this comb. She loves to be combed and it removes a lot of hair. I've only seen one flea, which is a good thing.

I had ordered this flea comb to replace an older flea comb. I liked the look of it and it had some good reviews...First time(and only time) I used it, I wasn't catching any fleas... Thought maybe I had gotten ahead of the flea problem (Yeah does that ever happen!) Not the case, right after using this new one, I thought I should comb some more with my older comb because she was stills scratching and sure enough, I caught 20 little buggers! Didn't work at all.

The quality of this flea comb is excellent. But I don't use it for removing fleas. My cats are indoor and don't get fleas. But one of my cats is a Maine Coon with long fine fur that easily mats. The flea comb is purrrrfect for removing mats while my at naps on my lap.
