Little Golden Books are my daughter’s favorite
These books are so cute and the perfect read for my toddler. They aren’t too long and take about 3-5 minutes to read. I love that they are a shorter version of the movie without taking too much detail away from the movie plot. The Moana book is her favorite!

Amazing!
Incredible! We're huge fans of The Golden Books! I swear they taught our three year old (now four year old) how to read. She would ask for 2-3 every single night. The stories are so great, succinct, offer a great perspective, etc.

Great for Early Readers; Enjoyable Summary of the Film
My first grade daughter loves Golden Books and the GB selection of books fits her interests. These film summary editions help her enjoy the story all over again, usually just before bedtime.

Love the illustrations!
We haven't started watching movies yet with our 2 year old but I still wanted to introduce her to some of the Disney stories, especially the ones with strong female leads. This is perfect for that. She loves listening to us read it to her and had no problems sitting through the whole thing. She's actually pretty fascinated with some of the new words/names she's hearing, like Moana, wayfinder and Te Ka.I love the movie, which is another reason I got this. As an adult, I love the illustrations here and would buy it again just for that but I do find the story a little clunky. It's fine. It gets the point across but I wouldn't actually say it flows. There are also some minor differences from the movie.I've attached some images of some of the two pages illustration spreads but they aren't all like this. You also get an idea of the font (if that's important to you) and just how wordy it is. It's really isn't that bad but I have a book loving toddler that would have stories read fo her all day, if she could. So, my opinion might differ.Overall, we're happy to have this in our library.
