MizunoWomen's TF-01 Training Shoe

Favorite minimal workout shoe ever
I wear these to run, hike, and weight train. I have a slightly narrow foot and a low instep, and these are absolutely perfect. The fit is great, and it's easy to forget you have shoes on. These are super lightweight and flexible (I don't want "support" because I want strong feet!). I would recommend these to anyone unless you have a really high instep, as I don't think this shape would suit.I'm planning to order a second pair after a year and a half of wear. Mine are still holding up well considering I wear them probably half the time I'm wearing shoes...

Not very nice looking and no good padding inside. They look huge.
I’m not really sure how to feel about these. The inside almost seems like it has no insole so it’s not very padded. The shoes are comfortable but they just seem really flat and wide looking. They make your feet look bigger than they are and it’s just not what I expected when I ordered it. I kept them but I can’t say I have worn them much and they’re very very white if you get the white ones. They look like duck shoes. Don’t get something like this if you want to use it to walk in the mornings in South Florida with rainy weather – not a good idea.

Weight lifting shoes not cross trainers?
I have worn Mizuno running shoes for years and absolutely love them. I decided to give these a try as I needed a pair of cross trainers for dance cardio and HIIT classes. These shoes are not exactly as I expected. There is very little cushioning in the foot. The waffle weave design extends from the external sole to the foot part that you feel when wearing the shoes. I do see how this would be helpful if you want to really “feel” the ground underneath you. But for most high impact activities it does not feel cushioned or shock-absorbing enough.

Love these shoes!
These are perfect for circuit training. They help with stability and balance and have great arch support. I would not recommend for a cardio workout as the sole is very thin but I love them for weights, squats etc.

No insoles in these shoes
I don't think the Mizuno T series training shoes have real "insoles" in them. I tried 4 different kinds and none of them had a typical insole. These are made like a minimalist shoe, so if you need real support, don't bother with these.

Missing insoles?
The shoe fit, but it didn't have insoles in the shoe.

Fell apart easily. Easily dirtied, not easy to clean.
Washed them one time and they completely fell apart.

Not a sport shoe
I read reviews before purchasing. There is no inner sole and not a sport shoe tread. I bought them as a dress sneaker to hold my thick orthotics. Perfect for what I wanted. Look great.
