D-Mannose Powder 100g German Pharmacy Production

Have reached that age where I often get a UTI and when I do it takes forever to get rid of it. Finally decided I needed to go with prevention rather than cure. This particular brand comes with a tiny scoop so I take one scoop in the morning and one last thing at night before bed. So far so good. For an active infection you would need to take larger more regular doses (and it worked for that too in the beginning) but as far as maintenance goes I'm happy knowing that I can prevent further infections for what probably works out as about £10-15 a month. (Anyone who has suffered will probably agree).

With a UTI with mixed Bacterial Flora, predominantly E coli, I was hoping D-Mannose would help, but sadly the bacteria just kept multiplying, as indicated by dip sticks. I took it 8-9 times a day for two weeks, with a 8oz glass of water, and always more than 1 hour before a meal.My diet is low in sugars, apart from that within fruit, and I restrict meals to a 6 hour window each day, but all to no avail for trying to improve the effectiveness of D-Mannose. It says it will only work for E-coli, and as I have found it is not effective for when it is predominately E coli.

This was bought for a member of the family, rather than myself. I am assured it works very well and is worth the money.
