This product will boost your 2.4ghz WiFi signal. Most of my 2.4 ghz devices show a gain of 30% or more when the device is powered on vs off.The only pitfall is that the power plug on my unit is very poor quality (possibly defective), the unit would only power on when the plug was held at a specific angle.To solve the problem I used some InstaMorph (moldable plastic) to keep the plug in the working position, so far its been working great now for about a week.The Signal Booster is connected to the middle antenna port of an ASUS RT-AC68U

I thought it was the smart tv until I replaced it with a "dumb" version
I didn't know if this would really work. Our router is in another room, separated by a eall, set of stairs, and pa tey. The tv used to drop the wi-first connection frequently. I thought it was the smart tv until I replaced it with a "dumb" version. The same thing happened. That hasn't happened since I connected this.powerful little devise!

Easy install but no difference in signal strength
It's Chinese garbage. I set it up in less than 2 minutes. I had already tested the signal strength before this device and nothing changed once installed, except now I have this device plugged into an outlet.

Poor Quality Control
The one I received had something rattling around inside the case. For that reason, I never installed it, so I can't comment on the actual performance, only on the poor quality control.

Great product
Fantastic! Something actually preforms as advertised. Very simple connection and hook up. Only took about 5 minutes! Would recommend to anyone trying to get better coverage in those dead spots. Well worth the money!

Doubled my signal strength!
I got this booster yesterday, and wasn’t sure if it would help or not. I have an ASUS RT-AC66U, and I have already added 9dB antennas to it to make it reach throughout my house. I took a WiFi measurement of strength on my phone before I installed the antenna from the furthest point away from my router in my house, and then once installed I did the same…. Take a look at the pictures…. In doubled my signal strength, and I only added this booster to ONE of my three antennas… the other two are still simply the 9dB antennas, without a booster. I would HIGHLY suggest this to anyone looking to boost their WiFi signal strength. No need to do it to all three antennas.
