Beautiful casting rod
This is my first fenwick and am very pleased! This is solid sturdy rod. Looks and feels amazing! It is disappointing there is no trigger like shown but none the less this is an awesome big swimbait or lure casting rod for inshore fishing. The corked handle has a nice unique design and the paint finish on the rod is amazing!

Nice rod but....
I really like the rod. But I notice when I got home from fishing the top 3 eyes on the rod are not aligned with rest. Would buy another but definitely not online

Great inshore rod
Solid rod for inshore fishing. The Heavy rod can handle a 3/4 lure up to a 3 oz lure.....15 - 40 lb Mono Line and 30-65 lb braided Line. It has a Fast Action rod tip. It has easily handled everything I have caught so far with no problems. Paired with a good baitcasting reel it will cast a mile. Just don't forget to seal your cork handles with U-40 Cork Sealer to keep them in great condition for years to come. The best part Fenwick HMG rods come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so there is no need to worry if your rod comes with a defect or snaps while fishing for one reason or another. Fenwick rods get my approval and I will definitely be buying more.

Well Designed and Well Made!
I am an avid inshore Gulf Coast angler. I have a dozen high quality rods and reels from many of the usual suspects. I love this reel. It’s very well made and the extra long natural cork handle is very nice and helps to put some extra zing on your cast. Highly recommend this rod especially for larger inshore species.
