Can get stuck in wood
Very clean holes. Only issue is ifyou go past two 2x4's deep the drill bit can get stuck. So clean out the hole often if you have a lot of wood to go through.

Chews through wood ...
You really need a powerful drill with this thing as it really pulls through the wood and if you do not have enough torque on your drill it can get bogged down. I use a cordless drill and it struggles with this drill bit. The holes are not very clean and the exit hole are usually a mess. I am using the bits primarily to run multi-layered pex pipes through framing and it has worked for me but could be better. My suggestion is that you get a very powerful drill and strong arms!

It goes into wood like a screw not like an irwin type bit that cuts a clean hole.
I dislike the fact that when it screwed in to a tree and then I reversed it it broke several bones in my hand. I guess the tree had a good laugh, it was solid oak and I just wanted to put a flag pole in it. So much for diablo the fastest in never to return bit.
