Love this builder gel
I’ve gotten a few different builder gels and this one if my favorite! If you’re used to getting builder gel at the salon, this one is a medium consistency. Not as thick as the stuff at the salon but not as liquid as some others in a bottle that I’ve tried. This one makes it more user friendly in my opinion and less room for error. Prep is definitely key to make these last also less is more! I’m going on 4 (almost 5 weeks) from my last nail appointment and currently on maternity leave. Decided to try and fill my nails myself and if these last, I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to the nail salon! This photo is the product filled over my salon builder gel (before polish). This light pink is beautiful! A little more shear than the builder gel I got at the salon but that doesn’t matter since I’ll be polishing over it. This is 3 coats and buffed. I like that you don’t need a nail drill to smooth these out. I just used a nail file. I’ll update in a few weeks to see how they hold up. Overall super pleased!

Easy to use, no lifting for me.
I'm new to doing my own nails. Using this builder to strengthen my nails. I found a good tutorial you tube video. Was fairly easy to apply and lasted 2weeks before new growth was showing. I'm not a fan of the color since it starts to look dingy, almost cloudy grey. I didn't put a gel color on top but I will next time. Cured easily with led and removal was easy using nail dremel. Over all I'm pleased with it's durability and easy to use brush/bottle. I plan on seeing how long I can grow my own nails using this builder gel.

Perfect for beginners!
This was the first time using it on my own and someone else. Its thick, easy to use, and the color is beautiful especially if you want to use it as natural color. I applied a thin layer and a second thicker layer that did it for me. It also lasts incase you are wondering but I do suggest curing it right and having the right top coat.•I also used a nail filer and not a drill to remove previous gel and to remove this builder gel to fix a nail I didnt like. 180 grit worked fine to remove it.

Great quality, but Soft White takes practice
I love IBD gels and this one has great quality for the price. It builds well and cures evenly. However, the Soft White shade is a bit tricky to work with. It’s not as creamy or opaque as I expected, so it can take a few layers to get the right look, and it’s a little harder to control compared to other colors. Still, once you get the hang of it, the result is beautiful — perfect for baby boomer or French styles. Just be prepared to spend a bit more time on application.

Good but…
I love ibd products. I bought the shear pink color to use on my clients, in hope as a natural base and save a step for French tips… the color is everything… BUT, it has so many bubbles in the product. I have tried so many ways on removing the bubbles or mixing up the product more but so many bubbles. Makes filing and buffing hard because the air bubbles leave a hole in the applied product that’s difficult to repair. I buff with ease

Just like the Salon
The media could not be loaded. I learned to use this from watching my nail lady. I’ve been using it for 8 months now. When you prep your nails and apply correctly, you will not have any issues with them peeling off. My nails have always rejected all kinds of polishes. For anyone having issues, follow these steps:1. Make sure hands are free of lotions and oils, but do not wash your hands immediately prior to use. Moisture will cause lifting.2. Prep the cuticle bed. It extends down the side nail. Any gel on the cuticle or flooding the skin will allow oils and moisture to enter under the gel.3. Buff the bare nail or file down existing base gel to remove smooth surface and/or lifted areas of gel. Wipe away debris.4. Use a 2-step nail prep. Step 1, dehydrator to remove moisture. Step 2, bonding agent for the gel. This is a critical step for me, as nothing sticks to my nails without the bonder.5. Apply a regular gel base coat and cure.6. Apply this builder gel. If you’re having troubles building an apex, do a thin coat on the entire nail and cure (it is thick, but it’s easy enough to spread. If you’re having issues learning to work with the thickness, use nail art brushes. Can dip the art brush in acetone to clean up the edges). Go back with a second coat, and apply a thicker dab to the center. Once the dab starts to settle, flip your hand upside down to allow gravity to build the apex. Flip back and forth until you have the desired look and cure. Make sure to cap the edges/tip of your nail. This will prevent lifting from ends.7. If satisfied with the look, proceed with color and top coats. If the nail needs to be shaped, it’s ok to file it down. A color coat will stick as long as you roughen up the entire surface. If filing, wipe debris away with acetone before doing color/top coat.8. Go back and file any flooded cuticles. Again, this will help prevent lifting for longevity.Following these steps, my nails will last 3-4 weeks when I’m being lazy, though 2-3 weeks is the typical time between redoing them due to grow out. I am not gentle on my nails by any means. I often do my nails, then go out and do manual labor (building a chicken coop, texturing walls, you name it). It takes a few applications to get the hang of it. So if you are having troubles at first, give it a few more tries before throwing in the towel!

It’s ok lots of lifting with proper application
I liked this product am I in love ? No the “pink” looks very pale and takes multiple layers to get “pink” also it just lifts a lot got this to protect my nails but with it lifting it just doesn’t do that I can’t even shower without the lift tugging out hair. And yes I capped off the tips multiple times and cured it it just chips off I even changed my nail shape bc I thought it would help prevent lifting but no if you’re in ur nail growth journey like I am if ur nails grow fast like mine but break fast too I’d buy their hard gel in a pot not this very fun to use though and easy and it definitely self levels :)
