Candle Shop Plastic Molds Set for Candle Making Taper, Pyramid, Cylinder, Sphere Molds

This set of candle molds was great. It has a bunch of different shapes to try. Product is sturdy and well made. It also comes with a bunch of the little tools that make the job easier (wicks, threading tools, wick holders, etc.)

I didn't like the fact that if you want to make it a layered candle that you can't see how much of one color you used for a layer because the mold is not see through for the round mold.

The cylinder one leaks every time I use it and the long candle is hard to put the wick in.... outside of that everything else works perfectly, easy to use, easy to take out.

It’s been used. I purchased it as new. The molds were dinged and sone were dirty. Missing the smallest mold. Clever threading system but wish they also included a bit of “modeling clay” to plug pre-drilled holes. Little Booklet of detailed explanations is also nice. I wish they explained Wick Sizing & the uses for the Wicking materials provided. Also, I would like more advice and examples of on layering colored wax in these molds. There are different waxes — Beeswax, soy wax, paraffin wax, & commercial wax blends available. Some types of wax shrink precipitously in the various molds as they cool; others do not. It would be helpful to know how to counteract such issues. Should we wait and pour at a cooler temperature? You mention hotter temps produce glossier candles… However I was startled by the extreme shrinkage when I used white Beeswax pellets. Yikes! Couldn’t fix two of the candle molds by just adding more melted Beeswax after 60 minutes as you had suggested. Golden Wax 464 worked well. Beginning Chandlers like me would benefit from more printed tips or a at least a weblink. Finally, how do I clean dirty molds if your recommended soap & water methods does not suffice? Moreover, how can I remove any wax that has adhered to the mold? I tried both cooling the mold and heating it. Nada! Please know that I love the concept of this Candle Maker’s Kit. You just need greater Quality Control & Packaging. Maybe package the Kit in a Re-usable container for cleaner Storage & better Organization. With qualified appreciation… Diane

Good price on a great product. I’ve had fun using these making my candles. They’re easy to use.

the pyramid triangle was scarred on the inside and the candles are marred. trying to upload picture. will update. paid 45 for the set. need to replace the pyramid, but it costs 28 by itself. not happy.

I made friends and family candles with my beeswax. These molds worked really well. Be sure to read and comprehend directions before starting (oil the molds). You will have beautiful candles!

Very disappointed as soon as I opened the box I noticed that one of the molds are broken and unusable was extremely upset with the amount of money I paid for it I expected better
