Smooth and clear writing, well engineered nib. Metal body therefore more rugged than some of my pricier fountain pens. Rugged enough to travel with. I got two of these, one black body, one white, for two ink colors. Low price makes this pen a real treat for fountain pen users who use their pen as a tool rather than an ornament.

Classic design, smooth nib, fabulous writer. Great value.

I like the design; sleek and sturdy yet slender and because of that, I can put it into the coil binding of my notebook. However it is a little slippery because of the enamel-like finish. But it has a clip!The clip is spring loaded. I am very happy with it.

I grew up with Pelikan Fountain Pens in School, back in Germany . This Pen writes beautiful ,perfect and also pretty, great item

It's all a question of perspective. I agree with all the negative reviews of this low-end Pelikan pen but I disagree with all the anger. Considering its affordable price the pen is a minor rip-off. I spent a small fortune on a Waterman Hemisphere. That one has many of the frustrating negatives of the Pelikan and costs a heck of a lot more. Save your tears for the real rip-offs.

Totally unimpressed for this product with the Pelikan name. Any medium at any price should never have smoothness or wetness issues. I did about 10 figure eights on 12000 grit mesh and it was a little better, but not Pelikan worthy
