Smaller lancing device and lancet gauge size
This was a replacement monitoring system for me, so I was familiar with the basic use. But it was a newer model that had some differences that were easy to learn. I like the smaller lancing device and the lancets are a smaller gauge so less pain. I really like the Notes option on the monitor.

Best bg tester for my teen
Over the past decade we have tried many meters, this is our favorite. Not too huge or two small. Well made, easy to used, and accurate. Now if I could only keep my son from losing them!!

I couldn’t find a way to contact company
I’d gladly change my 1 star to 5 stars if you’ll fix the issue.I’ve use the Onetouch Ultra for 10 years and I was in hospital for Covid and it threw my body out of whack! I couldn’t remember much of anything for weeks but Covid jacked my sugar up to 599!!! ICU got it down but told me to check it 3 times a day and I got home used it a few times now can’t find it so I bought this ultra 2 but the orange backlightIs FAR too dim. The one on my old one was always super bright, I tried changing batteries but no joy.Can you send me a new one and I’ll send this one back. I’d send this one first but I really need to keep a check on my sugar.I obviously believe in the product after using one for a decade after trying 3-4 different brands and if you’ll fix this and do it like I said so I can keep up w/ levels I’ll change my review. Please and Thank You.

A Replacement
I was replacing my old glucometer when changing Diabetes meds and I wanted to make sure my readings were accurate. This is an exact duplicate so no problems with relearning a new system.

Buy this meter
Great price and it arrived on time! It is a good meter. Nice soft carrying case. The needles for the lancet come in sizes, but you have to buy separately! Easy to use and it doesn’t require a lot of blood! I like that you can select before or after meals, too little or too much food. I like that you can also look at average blood sugars over a period of time. Dependable and not a lot of errors. Just make sure to not let your batteries, or the glucose strips expire, but that is par for the course with any meter😊!
