How well they work
The suspension rods work like a new washer but they are a bit hard to install alone.

The shocks had a grease coating once l cleaned them much easier installation.

I am disappointed.
Replacement for my washing machine. The Suspension Rod worked for about three weeks before the inner drum started to bank against the outer frame. The Rods appear to be faulty. I have an Amana washing machine

Worked briefly, then my appliance guy laughed and knew it wasn't right
Like most people, I bought these with the intentions of replacing the shocks that go into the washer but didn't want to spend the $75 ~ it cost to use the original maytag / admiral part. They worked fine for about three weeks and then back to the washing machine spinning around like crazy. The directions sucked by the way. Thanks to YouTube it isn't too bad. Anyhow, I was fed up and called my local appliance guy and he knew exactly what was wrong and said his son made the same mistake. Some things are worth the money..... I hate writing negative reviews but please don't waste your money with these. Buy the correct original.On a brighter note, my appliance dude did mention if you have one of these units that this shock goes into to hold on to them because they are actually very good and better than the new "high efficiency" ones.

Worked for my Admiral washing machine
Even though these parts didn't specifically list Admiral, the listing did mention Whirlpool, which owns Admiral. We had never fixed a washing machine before, but these parts worked just fine. We had to take off one of the rubber washers because it made the rod too short to fit, but it wasn't a big deal. The washing machine is spinning like it should, without the deafening sound.

Got this for my washer that need new springs washerMachine was going crazy making lots of noise when it was on it rinsing cycle found washer had dents on sideFound that when you push on the Tub it sink very low
