GOOD LUCK AFFORDING THIS NOW THAT THE MAKER'S GREED HAS CHOSEN TO MAKE IT COST $500, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT!! YES, $500!!!!!!!!
ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS FOR THE MAKERS/CREATORS OF THIS PRODUCT! I have ABSOLUTELY NO respect for a company who cares so little about it's loyal customer base who really do NEED & RELY on this product for their eyes and have have NO reason but GREED to make this NOW a prescription only product to obviously get filthy rich off the exact same identical item that for literally years we could get anywhere at anytime freely for a somewhat higher than average price but still reasonable at least!!!! I simply cannot believe how greedy this company & brother/sister maker/creators are knowing how well this works for so many eye disease sufferers! Had to PAY to go to my eye specialist to get a ridiculously unnecessary, greed hungry money-plow prescription for this now, which is NOT cheap in & of itself! Anyone who has to see an eye specialist or corneal specialist already knows this fact all to well! Eye specialists visits are higher & much more expensive co-pays than typical specialists in other fields b/c of the type exam necessary & procedures involved. The hell doesn't end there though, that turned out to be the LEAST of my worries to what occurred next in the step to obtain this once easily accessible & affordable item. Fast forward the time it takes to get your prescription to a pharmacy & filled; and I kid you not I went to my local pharmacy to pick it up & pay for it now via prescription and almost FELL OVER when they told me the PRESCRIPTION PRICE..... $500.00 !!!!!!!!!!!! YES, $499.99!!!! $500 FOR SOMETHING I JUST PAID $23.99 for just a few weeks prior here on Amazon & at my eye doctor's office & had been paying only $23.99 for it for years over-the-counter at my eye doctor's office & elsewhere!!! That's a mere 475% MARK UP!!!.... Greedy B*st*rds!! I wanted to cry standing there at the pharmacy, knowing this was the only thing that truly works & keeps my eyes healthy. It's simply devastating & rather cruel & heartless of this company, especially full-on knowing people will have to pay for this out of pocket, knowing it won't be covered by insurance!!! There is nothing in this that requires it to 'need' a prescription, except GREED from the brother/sister maker/creator! $500 for one tiny bottle is simply OUTRAGEOUS & PREDITORY GREED of another human kind!!! Making it worse & insult to injury is the fact & realization that all insurances are likely never going to cover this for that precise reason, b/c it was over-the-counter first & for a very lengthy time; & b/c nothing in it is requires it to truly, logically, medically or ethically 'need' a freaking prescription! It is too 'new' as a 'prescription-requiring' 'drug' now, so it's obviously NOT going to be on any of the insurance companies' current or near-future formulary lists! Nor will insurance probably ever add it to their formularies, let alone cover it in the future b/c in addition to what I noted above, it will be also very likely be treated like the drug Zrytec-D was & still is now that you need a prescription to obtain it! Like Zrytec-D, insurances companies will not cover it or add it to their formularies b/c it was once OTC, so they use that as a reason not to cover such drugs. I've never seen any former OTC drug be covered or picked up by insurance. It just doesn't happen & if (very BIG 'IF') it does, it takes years for it to happen I'm sure. Drug formularies are submitted once a year, so regardless if it was a completely non-formerly OTC drug, it would still not be on any formularies this year or near future. The makers know this, they know the customer is bearing the bulk & entire cost of this being turned into a prescription! They do NOT care! Line their pockets, make desperate, often disabled, poor, elderly, barely making it people already suffering w/eye diseases & pain, & likely other chronic illnesses just SUFFER some more b/c they want bigger mansions & more cars I guess. Real class act! Obtaining wealth is fine, but do it off your own back & not off the backs of sick people just trying to maintain quality of life without going hungry or losing our homes just trying to afford our medicines from disgusting, greedy, money loving & hungry drug companies! ....SMH! The worst part about it is full on knowing 100% that they obviously can make it, market it, distribute it, sell it & make a profit off of it at the $23.99 price!!! They obviously made a profit off the original price of $23.99 or they wouldn't of been able to maintain selling it & making it for that cost & selling price & stay in business! That's obvious & the part that burns my you know what & my wallet...LITERALLY!! I don't know who can afford that unless your rich, & filthy rich if you can afford $500 a pop for a tiny bottle that will barely last a month if used as directed! Just R I D I C U L O U S & G R E E D Y!! Guess it's food & rent or this??? SMH at these people, you may be rich on the outside but you're quite ugly & obviously dead on the inside to raise this for the obvious profit increase only. Good luck to anyone who isn't rich who needs this, especially the elderly & disabled whom dry eye affects more in high numbers. I pray you find help to obtain this & the increased cost of a Dr. visit to obtain & the travel involved back in forth to & fro both Dr.'s office & a pharmacy now.

It works great, but why can't I get it anymore
It works great, but why can't I get it anymore? You are now saying a prescription only. . . .that's no good.

Not recommended for sensitive eyes
Knowing that I have sensitive eyes per my doctor's instructions I tried this spraying 2 times on cotton pad and then wiping lids/eyelashes as directed, new pad each eye and my eyelid within minutes became irritated and dry which in turn made my eyes feel drier. Next time I tried 1 spray only on the eyelid and then took pad and wiped like instructed by my doctor again irritation and dry lids and eyes. Was told to stop. Was using for blepharitis and MGD/dry eye. Find my TheraTears Sterilid Gel Cleanser which can only be bought in UK at Butterflies Eye Care to be much better and I buy it by the case so I will be sticking to that!

Don't waste your money! Spray Bottle Stopped working when still 90% full !
For a product that costs $$$$, (and at least $50 to you if your prescription plan pays for it) one would think that they wouldn't put it into a crappy spray bottle. For the 4 ml used out of a 40 ml bottle, that prices out to about $87.50 per milliliter. The very best caviar is a lot cheaper.

It's too early to tell how well it is working ...
It's too early to tell how well it is working. It gets more makeup off my eye lids than just my lid wipe, so that's beneficial. What I want to share is HOW to use it. I was instructed by my optometrist to spray it onto a cotton pad. Not only is this wasteful but increases the potential irritation to your eye. I spray one full squirt into the cap, use a q-tip to absorb the liquid and then wipe my lower lid with one side of the q-tip, turn it half way around then repeat on the other eye.
