Item Package Quantity:60 A simple and effective product to prevent the exposure of the roofing underlay at the eaves, which leads to long-term degradation of the underlay Felt support trays prevent felt from sagging at eaves level and subsequent ponding of water. It eliminates the need to strip a large section of roof to replace old, damaged felt. This product can be installed in new builds and refurbishment projects and suites all rafter centres. As roofing felt perishes over a period of time, it is at its most vulnerable at the eaves level, where it can sag and allow water to collect (ponding), causing the felt to tot, rupture and allow water to access the roofing void, which may cause damage to the rafter timbers and roof structures Our high quality PVC felt support trays provide clear drainage points into gutter, directing water away from the underlay Installation Guidelines: The felt support tray should be used with timber fillets. The front “bobble” edge should be dressed down towards the gutter and either stapled or nailed into position. The first “bobble” of each tray should be used to locate the overlap, felt should be dressed over the Felt Support Tray as normal. With Fascia’s: The support trays are placed over the fascia board and directly nailed into the rafters using corrosion resistant nails. Adjoining lengths are overlapped by a minimum of 100mm. The roofing underlay is then laid onto the support tray ensuring the bottom edge does not go over the line of the fascia board and into the gutters. Fascia vents need to be fitted directly to the top of the fascia board prior to the support tray being fitted.

Great Price, Works Brilliantly
I'm sure you can pick these up a lot cheaper if you're in the trade and using a builders merchants but as someone just doing a bit of DIY I found the price fair. The trays themselves really are great and have made a huge difference to my guttering. Before the felt under my tiles and wood behind the fascia's had rotted from rainwater dropping off the tiles and down the back of the guttering due to some tiles shifting position. With these in place that gap is now bridged and although i've realigned the tiles correctly it's a big piece of mind knowing that if they do shift again this will prevent any rainwater from damaging the new fascias i've fitted.Worth every penny and for anyone who doesn't have them the fitting is a 30 minute job at most

Bought from "Trade Store Online."
Very quick delivery from "trade store online."Fitted on a hot summer day so no issues with the brittleness that other reviews had suggested. These seemed adequately flexible and strong but I predrilled the fixing holes as I went along anyway. Screwed rather clout nailed. Good fit over the top of the facia board.Cost effective, quick way to ensure any rain water getting under tiles does find it's way into the guttering when the bottom edge of the felt has rotted away.

Plastic Felt support /Tile drip tray
Great item only took around 30 minutes to install these on one side of my bungalow.Just push up the second row of tiles and remove the first row ,slide in the drip tray and then put the tilesback.I cannot comment on how the item works as it hasnt rained yet but Im sure it will work well.

Curved - the wrong way
I have bought these before and they were perfect. This time though, the material has changed, and the section that is inserted under the felt is NOT flat. It is curved - in the wrong way. If curved the right way, it would have eased installation even more than the old flat ones.
