Sounds great, easy to hook up.
The hardest part was finding a 12 to 24 vdc power supply for testing in the house, not in the car. I found a 12vdc adaptor, and hooked it up with the sound source in parallel. No problems, other than determining the polarity of the adaptor. It _said_ center positive, but I don't fall for that. I put a meter on, which told me yes, center positive. Connecting the wires for power, source, and speakers took less time than finding a working power source. All good. I haven't done a high volume test, but at medium volumes, it sounds as good as my large box amplifier. Update: Found an old laptop power supply (19v) that works great with the amp! Sound quality is really good at high volume setting, with about zero hum. I set it about middle, and have my iPad on lowest setting for casual deskside listening. The heat sink was not adhered, but has a double-sided (hopefully thermal conducting) tape on it. It's barely warm with the heat sink. All in all, a really great product at an awesome price.

Clean and crisp sound.
I love this little amplifier. It is so clean and absolutely no hiss or any background noise at all. No popping when turning on or off. I tried these on some infinity 6x9 320 watts 3 ohm speakers to test it out. This thing rocked with no distortion. I'll be adding a tone board to my boombox build, with this amp. One thing I liked is that I didn't have to increase the voltage on this amp. I just tested it on a small 12volt 5.6 amp-hour battery and man did it perform. I will add that I listened to it at full volume for over an hour and it never got hot. If you are looking for project amp this is for you. Inexpensive and high quality. I hope MakerHawk adds more because I will be buying more for my projects.

Fantastic basic stereo amp
Great product. Main TPA3116D2 chip is common with small DIY audio amps. This package was very well priced around $15 for the pair. Works as advertised with clean audio and nice green LED power light. Highly recommended.

Great value for your audio project
These amplifier boards are a great deal. They are quite small but pack quite an audio punch. Make sure you feed it plenty of power and enjoy.

One good; One bad
Out of the two, one is very nice, works well, etc... The other has an RFI (radio frequency interference) problem. When I turn it on, my VHF radio (amateur radio ±146 MHz) is interfered with. For the price, I might order again and just replace it, but just so as you know, not all amps have the same quality control. You and your luck. Again, for 15 bucks... you get what you pay for.

Small Heatsink 7.8 watts per Ch. with Heatsink and no fan
The media could not be loaded. Update : Ran RMS Tests on two of these amplifiers and both tested well below the 50 watts per channel. The best I was able to produce was 8 watts RMS with supplied Heatsink without a fan and 16 watts RMS per channel with a high airflow fan . The amplifier works but due to the small sized Heatsink and the location you are unable to replace with anything larger.Ran a test with this amplifier running at 24vdc.Was not impressed, ran a 1 KHz sine wave and was only able to run @8 watts per Channel any more and amplifier would go into Thermal shutdown . With a good fan was able to get @16 watts per Channel. In my opinion the small size of the Heatsink is way too small and due to the location of the Heatsink no way to fit in a larger size unless you find one with taller fins.
