Pros: Over the years I've purchased and installed many sink-drains in my homes. This product was delivered in the best packaging, it is the highest quality, was the easiest to install, and the best value of all the drains I've used. Installation was a breeze: no need for plumber's putty or caulk, the silicone washer sealed tightly and has remained leak-free for two months since installation. The pop-up feature continues to work reliably. Since we rarely get hair in the sink, the basket has remained empty. Since the p-trap below the basket also remains clear, I assume the basket is not just allowing hair, etc. to pass through.Cons: The flange on top of the drain is of larger diameter than that of usual drains. The large flange straddles the depression in the sink bowl that accommodates usual size flanges. The result is that a ring of water always remains in the sink. I knew that would happen when I bought the drain, so I'm OK with it. I would rate the drain a 5-star if it wasn't for the ring of residual water.Recommendation: I would definitely buy this product again, and highly recommend it.

I originally bought a new bathroom faucet that included a drain in the package. But it was made of plastic and I did not like the look when installed. So, I picked this one out to replace it. It was a very good choice. The entire drain is metal, looks like stainless steel and brass. The pop-up drain works perfectly and includes a basket that will collect anything not meant to go down the drain. Never lose a ring down the drain again! Honestly, I have no complaints at all.

I'll start with the packaging - extremely impressed. This drain was packaged like it was crystal! This is a heavy, high quality drain. It was easily the nicest part of my sink replacement. I easily expect this to outlast the cabinet, sink and faucet!

Insturctions were simple to follow and it looks great.

Comparing this to the offerings at the local Lowes and Home Depot, this pipe is much better quality, improved functionality, and at a lower price. Yes, an actual metal pipe and fittings for an affordable price. Comes well protected in a cloth sleeve and sturdy box. The problem I was having is constantly needing to undo the pea trap and clear the blockage from my wife's hair. This has made it much easier to keep on top of that without putting an ugly strainer in the bottom of the sink.I was very surprised as the quality of the product compared to the price and am glad I made the gamble.

... nicht in Europa anschliessbar.Die amerikanischen Gewinde-Anschlussmaße entsprechen nicht den europäischen Standards.Ich konnte hier keine Adapter zum Übergang auf die Europäischen Maße finden.Am Ende muss man das Teil dann auch noch ziemlich umständlich nach den USA zurücksenden.Nur ein Stern, weil beim Angebot absolut nicht darauf hingewiesen wurde!In USA / Canada eine gute Lösung!Würde dort 5 Sterne vergeben.... not connectable in Europe.The American thread connection dimensions do not correspond to the European standards.I couldn't find any adapters for the transition to the European dimensions here.In the end, you have to send the part back to the USA, which is quite laborious.Only one star, because it was absolutely not mentioned in the offer!A good solution in USA / Canada!Would give 5 stars there.
