It seems like the cheap aftermarket remotes fire the rf in bursts ...
So far after hundreds of attempts I have been unable to get my '04 Odyssey to go into programming mode. I think you need a OEM remote to get this programed and the last OEM remote we had died in the washer. It seems like the cheap aftermarket remotes fire the rf in bursts while the OEM a steady stream. A lot of key turning and button pressing with only frustration to show for it.

It worked!!!
Ok, first of all, yes it has a battery, and yes, it has the computer board inside. Yes, it was super easy. Yes, this is the same thing that a local locksmith/key store just told me would be $130 at a minimum. I said "well... I think I found one on amazon for around $20, why is yours so much?" the employee told me that he was familiar with the product that I asked about but assured me that it would only be a shell. He told me that it would need to be brought to him and have a board/chip thing put inside and programmed in order to work. HE WAS WRONG! (or lying, who knows?)

It comes with a battery!
This unit is not compatible with original factory FOB as far as programming both at the same time. Buy two of these!

Fits my OEM internals
I have an 02 Odyssey with a busted case for the keyfob. This was an exact fit for my original so I was able to move the guts over and not have to reprogram anything. Worked great!
