I bought this because the hurricane was coming and I was sure the power would go out - and it did. The fan works great. I bought this one because I couldn't find the one that a Franciscan sister bought for me back years ago. Of course, after I purchased this one - that works well and is well made - I found the old one. Now I am a two-handed fanner :)

A beautiful way to battle those pesky hot flashes my beautiful wife tends to on occasion. My frugal smart wife was using a paper plate with a stick glued onto it so ... I got busy on the internet and bought this. She cried when I handed it to her. Gentlemen - you could be a hero for the day! Elegant! Have fun with it. -Chris

The look of the fan is very nice. I like the wood and the silk. The closing of the fan is my big problem. When you try to close it, it takes great care and may not fold properly.

At a friend's 4th of July picnic, she had some cheap paper fans, so convenient to be able to cool off outside. So I went in search of less clunky, less cheap fans. I have purchased a couple look-a-like cheaper fans. They don't hold up to the abuse of being carried in my purse. This fan is beautiful, and sturdy enough to hold up being carried in a purse or bag. Now that the weather chilly, my fans are put away, I will miss them until next summer!

As a makeup artist, I love using large fans like this to help dry my face after cleansing & moisturizering (no rubbing or tugging at my skin = the slower the wrinkles pop up!). I also use this after applying my setting spray that helps lock my makeup in place. I just wish this were a little sturdier. It’s a much better quality than any paper one I’ve used in the past, but the ribbing is a thinner plastic and I have to carefully manipulate it when I’m closing it back up, so I took one star off there. Plus, I could live without the tassel at the end, but it’s easily removable ... But you can’t beat the price and the lovely design! I have three in different colors and they work great :)

I use these hand held fans all the time, and this is one of the prettiest I've ever seen - I just got it, and I've already gotten compliments on it!! It's a perfect size, opens & closes with ease, love the silk material it's made of, definitely a great purchase!!

I like the color but it is not very strong.

This is a beautiful fan! We are using it as a decoration. It is a bit tricky to close, but once you figure it out it is not a problem.Would definitely buy another!
