This book provides an excellent review of the theories underlying behavior therapy. All too often I have seen trainees gravitate toward the tools of CBT and BT without understanding the underlying theories, so this book is essential for both trainees and practitioners in the field. You can't adapt a tool or use it properly if you don't understand why it works.
