Damnation / Deliverance Box Set [3 LP]

Great music, poor pressing.Lets get one thing straight, Opeth are the premier prog rock band of our age - it's just beautiful music. But one of the vinyl pressings (on Deliverance of all tracks) is just poor, the sound distorted and the left channel has reduced volume so you have an unbalanced mix ( I can't believe Steve Wilson intended it this way). Luckily the other 2 pressings are ok. The actual packaging is really nice if a little sparse but for the money this is a very good value purchase.So 5/5 for music, 3/5 for quality of product.

I'm a huge fan of opeth and finally I'm in financial condition to actually buy their music instead of listening on the YouTube and I couldn't be more happier with those amazing albuns. The sound is incredible. I've been listening everyday after went to the concert last 19Nov 16. The package is lovely, in the beginning was a bit hard to take the cds out package but then it gets easier and easier.

A stunning re-working of "Damnation" by Steven Wilson. I would listen to the telephone catalogue read aloud if he remixed it in 5.1. And the stereo remix is just as valid as I am hearing parts in it that were lost in the original - for example a better placement of the drums - which was an eye-opener.

Superb remix job by mssrs Soord and Wilson. Cracking value at this price.
