The EDA-PS power supply is a direct replacement for the power supply included with the Electroline Series of Drop Amplifiers. It supplies 300ma at 15VDC. It is over-current protected so that the drop amplifier is protected from a voltage surge. This power supply uses the screw-on type F connector. This power supply will work with Electroline, Scientific Atlanta, Motorola, Viewsonics, and most any signal amplifier that requires a 12-15VDC power supply.

Hope this new design power supply lasts longer than the last 4 I have purchased from Electroline. Only time will tell. The old design power supplies only lasted 6 months on average, with the longest lasting about a year. Cheap Made in China electronic junk. I always keep a spare so I don't have to wait several days without cable service for a new one to arrive.

Works fine and well made
Our house came with a broadband amplifier that was powered from the cable box. When the that box was sent back the amplifier quit working. This power supply permits watching TV from an outdoor antenna, if you have the same brand of RF amplifier.

DON'T BUY IT!
This AC/DC power supply / adaptor is INCREDIBLY unreliable. The first one shipped to me with an EDA-2800 was DOA. The second one died after 90 days of service. Find a similar device from another manufacturer - preferably not selling Chinese junk electronics.
