INDIANA FILLY Acoustic Guitar - Pink

I was traveling and dropped in a music store and saw this guitar. It was with the other 3/4 size travel guitars, including a Martin. It caught my eye because it was pink and made me think about my only granddaughter. It played and sounded better than most of the other guitars, not the Martin. I was amazed. Ordered it through Amazon and when it arrived I set it up so it would be ready for Christmas. The guitar was well made, set up was very easy, and the guitar sounded and played great. The strings are not great but did sound good. After its first tuning and shipping it to her, it only needed a small adjustment to be back in tune. She opened it on Christmas day and loves it. The backpack style gig bag was a big hit as well. At 7 years old, she has a lot of lessons ahead of her but the quality of the guitar should keep her on track.

Great guitar for beginner. I'm a college student and it works perfect for me since all I need is a cheap, not-fancy guitar to start with. This is not just for kids. The circle around the hole is red, not purple as stated in previous reviews, but it doesn't really matter. And the color is not the mild pink the in picture either, it's a richer tone, but again, it does not matter (you will see in my picture that the color is close to the product picture, for some reason it comes out like that).Pretty easy to tune, and right size for me. A little hard for the hands but that's because I got really small hands, so nothing wrong with the product.Nothing damaged, came with huge package, and I thought it might be broken a little but it's not. And plus I've got 2-day prime shipping, so I can always return it if it were broken.

We're still in the tuning phase, trying to get it to hold tune, after giving it to our daughter a week ago. The guitar we received has red accents unlike the purple in this photo. There are some rough spots in the black paint in the fret on the neck, and the knobs on the tuning pegs are plastic. I bought it on recommendation of a friend whose daughters love theirs, and I am hoping that as we use it, we like it. It's just too early to tell. My 7 year old daughter LOVES the bubble gum pink color, the size is perfect. It is not standard as described in the Amazon ad, more like the 3/4 Yamaha and Gianninni that we tried in the stores for $30-$60 more with a nicer case. I think it will be good for a first non-serious guitar, it seems much more solid than other "toy" guitars I have seen around Christmas, but the verdict is till out on whether it is a great starter guitar for us.

My Granddaughter was ecstatic when opening her guitar for Christmas. This little guitar is of fine quality and hold it's tone very well. I priced the same guitar in the music store and this is just below retail. Very pleased with my purchase. Amazon is the best way to shop.
