I’ve been looking for something to remove blue jean dye from my drivers seat, as mine are an off-white cream leather. I tried just about everything, and this was the only product that made a huge difference. There’s still blue dye, but it removed about 80% of the dye compared to 5-10% of others. I did let it sit for 15min and will try again to see if it can get more out. I think that if I knew about this sooner vs. 2years of blue jean dye embedded into the seat, it probably would’ve removed 90-100% of the dye.

Cannot go wrong with lexol.

I purchased it for some leather seats that I had just put in my truck and it worked great but they weren't that dirty and the conditioner was awesome made them nice and soft I was very pleased. But it wasn't until I pulled a leather jacket that I've had for 15 years out of the back of my closet where it's been sitting for the last seven, I never thought I would wear again because it was all marked up and looked horrible, I had used other products in the past with no impressive results to speak of. So I decided to try the cleaner and conditioner out on it and I was absolutely amazed It looks brand new, I could wear it everyday! absolutely phenomenal! Don't just buy the conditioner thinking that that's all you need because believe me that cleaner makes all the difference in the world.

I have used Lexol on leather in various conditions for over 40 years. My first project was restoring a slightly wreaked 1965 Jaguar XKE and an old world upholserer showed me how to restore the leather with Lexol, rather that replacing it, which I could not afford to do. Looked great and the interior helped me get a nice price when I sold it later!My main use now is restoring vintage camera bags and cases.I have used other products, but kept coming back to Lexol.The Cleaner combined with the Conditioner has worked very well for me.I used to pay more for Lexol, but Amazon's price can't be beat. I just bought 4 more bottles (2 of each, Cleaner and Conditioner)On older leather, you will use more Cleaner than Conditioner, and for newer leather and well kept leather, you will use more Conditioner than Cleaner, but you should always clan first!Good luck with your leather project and make sure you read the instructions !!

Unlike the previous Lexol Leather cleaner I have been using for decades, this bottle has a really bad odor which now is hard to even clean off hands and makes everything cleaned with it smell bad. My guess is that the oil I it is probably old and stale/rancid.Yes, it still cleans and renews leather nicely but the lasting odor defeats the cleaning effort.
